A Master Storyteller

SheroCon 2026 is Coming to The Valley Relics Museum on August 1, 2026

I’m excited to officially announce that SheroCon 2026 will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the amazing Valley Relics Museum in Van Nuys!

For those who are new around here, SheroCon is my annual event celebrating the women who have trailblazed their way to success in comics, film, gaming, manga/anime, and creative technology. I created SheroCon because I wanted a space where we could celebrate the Sheros who inspire us while introducing attendees to the many career opportunities that exist in the creative industries.

This year marks SheroCon’s fourth year, and I’m thrilled to be bringing it back as a standalone event.

Throughout the day, attendees will be able to meet incredible women creators in the Shero Alley, participate in our “Your Favorite Shero” Cosplay Contest, and hear directly from women who are helping shape the future of entertainment and technology.

This year’s featured panels include:

• Shero’s Saving Hollywood – featuring female executives from major studios and production companies discussing leadership, representation, and the future of the entertainment industry.

• Women Who Run the Game – a conversation with women working behind some of your favorite video games.

• Shojo: Where My Girls At in Manga and Anime – a discussion exploring the role women play in manga and anime and where the genre is headed next.

Because the event takes place just before the start of the school year, we’re also turning SheroCon into a Back-to-School celebration for local families. Through my partnership with the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles and other community organizations, I expect to welcome students, parents, creators, and fans from across the region. I’m also excited that the Los Angeles Clippers have expressed interest in helping us support young attendees as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

I want to thank The She Angels Foundation, Queen of Mercia, KamRock Entertainment, the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council, the Valley Glen Neighborhood Council, Creative Visions, and the many community partners who have helped make this year’s event possible.

If you’ve been following the SheroCon journey, then you know bringing this event back wasn’t exactly easy. There were plenty of twists, turns, and unexpected challenges along the way. In fact, I recently wrote about the entire experience in an article called “SheroCon 2026: Failing My Way to the Top.”

I’m incredibly excited about this year’s event and can’t wait to see everyone at Valley Relics Museum on August 1st.

See you at SheroCon!
